Privacy Policy
The short version: your numbers live in your browser by default. If you create an account, your planner profile syncs to our database so you can use Tuesday across devices. We don't sell data, we don't run ads, and we don't use third-party trackers. You can delete your account and its data yourself, from inside the app.
Local-first by default
Tuesday works fully without an account. In that mode, everything you type — income, expenses, balances, debts, goals, monthly check-ins — is stored in your browser's local storage on your device. It never leaves your machine, and we cannot see it.
What we store when you sign in
- Account: your email address, and your name and avatar if you sign in with Google. Authentication is handled by Supabase; we never see or store your password (email sign-in uses Supabase's hashed credentials or one-time magic links).
- Planner profile: the same numbers you'd otherwise keep locally (income, expenses, balances, debts, goals, check-in history), stored as a single record tied to your account so it can sync across devices. Database access rules (row-level security) ensure only your session can read or write your row.
- Subscription status: whether your account has Pro, and a Stripe customer reference.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers — we receive only the subscription status and a customer reference so we can unlock Pro on your account.
Analytics and error reports
We run our own minimal, first-party event log (page visits, which tools get used, checkout steps) to understand what to build next. It uses a random device identifier stored in your browser — no third-party analytics, no advertising identifiers, no cross-site tracking, and none of your financial numbers. If the app crashes, an error report (the error message and technical context, not your planner data) is logged so we can fix it.
What we never do
- Sell or rent your data to anyone.
- Show ads or share data with ad networks.
- Connect to your bank — Tuesday has no access to your real accounts. Balances are numbers you type.
Deleting your data
Local data: clear your browser storage for this site, or use your browser's site-data controls. Account data: open the account menu in the app and choose "Delete account" — this permanently removes your account, your synced profile, and your check-in history from our database. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first via "Manage subscription" (deleting the account does not stop Stripe billing on its own).
Data location and retention
Synced data is stored with Supabase (Postgres, hosted in the US). We keep it for as long as your account exists. Error logs and analytics events are operational data, periodically pruned.
