Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-07-12 · Tuesday

The short version: your numbers live in your browser by default. If you create an account, your planner profile syncs to our database so you can use Tuesday across devices. We don't sell data, we don't run ads, and we don't use third-party trackers. You can delete your account and its data yourself, from inside the app.

Local-first by default

Tuesday works fully without an account. In that mode, everything you type — income, expenses, balances, debts, goals, monthly check-ins — is stored in your browser's local storage on your device. It never leaves your machine, and we cannot see it.

What we store when you sign in

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers — we receive only the subscription status and a customer reference so we can unlock Pro on your account.

Analytics and error reports

We run our own minimal, first-party event log (page visits, which tools get used, checkout steps) to understand what to build next. It uses a random device identifier stored in your browser — no third-party analytics, no advertising identifiers, no cross-site tracking, and none of your financial numbers. If the app crashes, an error report (the error message and technical context, not your planner data) is logged so we can fix it.

What we never do

Deleting your data

Local data: clear your browser storage for this site, or use your browser's site-data controls. Account data: open the account menu in the app and choose "Delete account" — this permanently removes your account, your synced profile, and your check-in history from our database. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first via "Manage subscription" (deleting the account does not stop Stripe billing on its own).

Data location and retention

Synced data is stored with Supabase (Postgres, hosted in the US). We keep it for as long as your account exists. Error logs and analytics events are operational data, periodically pruned.
